If you are in the vicinity of Ampang, do drop by Kemensah Waterfall located in Kampung Kemensah, Hulu Kelang. Kemensah Waterfall is located in the Ampang Jaya Forest Reserve. Getting here is easy, you need to look for Zoo Negara. Or if you are on the MRR2 from Cheras or Ampang, just go straight until you see Taman Melawati (landmark; Shell petrol station and a flyover heading to Gombak. Take the exit and make a U-turn. Keep left and take the exit to Zoo Negara (there's big signboard you cannot miss). Take the main road beside the zoo before reaching Kampung Kemensah. Just take a drive further up and look for chalets on your left. If you go further up, it’ll lead you to ATV Adventure Park and further up to a dead end where Institut Budaya Baru Melayu Selangor is situated.

<script async src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-2980706712235020"
Long-tailed macaque or Macaca fascicularis (Kera in Malay language) has been spotted in Bukit Ampang. This and other macaque species are known generically as kera, possibly because of the high-pitched alarm calls they give when in danger ("krra! krra!").

It is also often referred to as the long-tailed macaque because its tail is usually about the same length as its body and because its long tail distinguishes it from most other macaques. The species is also commonly known as the crab-eating macaque because they are often seen foraging beaches for crabs.

Sometimes a group of them seem foraging the nearby neighbourhood looking for food.
Where is the best place to view sunset view of KL? The answer is Bukit Ampang. Previously, you can have this view from the Ampang Lookout Point but sadly the place has been closed down for a reason.

Until the place is open to public, you can have enjoy the beautiful Kuala Lumpur cityline landscape few metres away before the Lookout Point. You can have your teh tarik with maggi goreng, char kuey teow, etc from a group of small mobile food stalls located at the junction that leads to Taman Mulia Jaya, Ampang.
Do drop by the place and check out the view yourself. It's breathtaking.
